I will be working with Kitty Hawk Kites and the Rogallo Foundation in Nags Head, North Carolina. For field work, I will be creating a catalogue of artifacts in storage in the care of the Rogollo Foundation. The Rogallo Foundation was established to spread knowledge and recognition of Francis Rogallo’s work in developing the flexible wing concept, which has evolved into the designs of modern hang gliders, paragliders, parachutes, and kites.
